Besøk av fremtidens vedlikeholdsledere

Fredag 25. april fikk Karsten Moholt AS besøk av 80 studenter fra sivilingeniørstudiet Energi og Miljø på Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) i Trondheim. 

- Å få besøk av studenter fra NTNU har blitt en årlig tradisjon for Karsten Moholt og vi setter stor pris på å få besøk.  Det er svært viktig for oss å få vise fram bedriften til fremtidens vedlikeholdsledere. Forhåpentligvis vil noen av dem arbeide hos oss og andre sammen med oss.

Studentene fikk en innføring i tilstandskontroll, engineering, truck og pumper, transformatorer, bedriften som helhet og tur i verkstedene våre.

- Dette var veldig kjekt, sier Fredrik Williksen, student ved NTNU. – Vi har besøkt forskjellige bedrifter og fordelen med å være hos Karsten Moholt er at vi får muligheten til å se og ta på maskiner og deler vi kanskje kommer til å arbeide med senere. – Det blir noe helt annet enn å lære om det på skolen, sier Williksen.

 

Make reliability a reality

Meet Jason Tranter, founder of Mobius institute and an awarded speaker. 

Monday 28.04.2014, at Askøy

Jason is the author of the majority of the Mobius Institute training courses and e-learning products covering condition monitoring, precision maintenance, and reliability improvement topics. 
Titles include iLearnReliability, iLearnVibration, iLearnAlignment, and iLearnBalancing.  Vibration analysis classroom and distance learning courses follow ISO 18436-2 Category I – IV.

He was just awarded best speaker at the condition monitoring and reliability conference in Australia, and the Reliability 2.0 conference in the USA.

Mobius Institute has training centers in 50 countries, and also provides certification through the ISO/IEC 17024 accredited organization, Mobius Institute Board of Certification. 
Mobius has direct offices in Australia, Europe, South America and the United States.

Mr. Tranter has been involved with this field of work since 1984.  He has worked with people in a variety of industries to help improve reliability and implement successful condition monitoring programs. 
He has written numerous articles and presented at conferences around the world.

We hope our most important costumers will take this chance to get to know Mobius institute and Karsten Moholts condition monitoring department better.
